Ağrı Mountain
Ağrı Dağı, which is covered with snow for four seasons and is considered as sacred by various religion and beliefs, is at the highest point of the Europe with its submit for 5.137 mt. Ağrı Mountain is an important tourism value for both climbing and hiking. Ağrı Mountain about which Marco Polo said that it was impossible to be climbed is believed to have hosted the Ship of Noah.
Big and Small Ağrı Mountains, Meteor Crater and the area where Noah’s Ship was founded were announced as Ağrı Mountain National Park in 2004. The reeds in the foothills of Ağrı Mountain have a significance in an international scale and it hosts for numerous migrant birds. Climbing to Ağrı Mountain which can be seen from each point of Iğdır and Doğubayazıt can be done from Iğdır and Doğubayazıt.
Ağrı - Ishakpasha PalaceIshakpasha Palace is one of the most beautiful examples of Ottoman and Seljukian architecture which is standing itself among the stiff mountains at the center of Doğubayazıt, just near Ağrı Mountain. The palace with its 116 rooms which was began to be constructed in 1685 and completed in 1784 after 99 years by Ishak Pasha, the governor of Çıldır and his son Mehmet Pasha was estabslihed on 7,600 mt2 area and it is the first palace of the world to have a central heating, water and canalization installation within itself.
Ağrı Meteor Crater
The second biggest meteor crater of the world with its 60 mt. depth and 35 mt. diameter is located on 35 km East of Doğubayazıt and next to Gürbulak Boundary Door.
Ağrı - Noah’s Ship
Natural monument located on the south of Ağrı Mountain is believed to have been created as a result of the Noah’s Ship which was grounded because of the Biblical Flood. Ruins which are 3,5 km away from Turkey - Iran Transit road is an important destination for tourists.
Ağrı - Fish River
Fish River on 34 km2 area is the highest river of Turkey thanks to its altitude for 2.250 m. Fish River on 18 km northeast of Taşlıçay was created by lava set. Depth of the river is more than 100 mt. in some parts. And the surface of the river which is frozen during winter has a unique beauty during spring and summer. Drinking water need of Doğubayazıt and surrounding villages is met by the river where red scaled trouts and caps are living.
Ağrı - Diyadin Hot SpringsBeing 60 km away from Ağrı province center, Diyadin Hot Springs consist of Yılanlı, Davut and Köprü hot springs which are located on a large area. Thermal waters are significant treatment resources because of bicarbonate, chlorine, sulfate, calcium, carbon dioxide and totally 1.227 mg/lt mineralization; and various skin diseases, rheumatism, neuritis neurology, gynecological diseases, bone diseases and calcification, sciatic and metabolism disorders can be cured in the hot springs. The temperature of the water varies between 72-78 °C and is used for the heating of some buildings in the district center.

Ağrı Tendürek Mountain Lava FlowLava region vomited when the Tendurek Volcano was active exhibit miracle views with which you might come across in the rare geographical regions in the world. Lava flows and the mine bulks created in the places where they were vomited exhibit a spectacular view with its interesting shapes.
