It is a city located on the Northern East of Eastern Anatolian has boundaries with Georgia and Armenia. With its husbandry business activities, delicious kashar cheese production, natural Caucasian honey, well-known goose and organic agricultural products, Ardahan is of great importance for both our region and our country. With its boundaries to Middle East and Caucasian countries and its increasing trade volume, Ardahan is developing day by day. Ardahan has become an appeal center among the Serhat provinces thanks to its modern, contemporary and offering university campuses, increasing student demand, health investments, culture tourism, winter tourism and winter sport opportunities.

Its districts:ÇıldırIt is one of the oldest settlement places. It is located on the southeast of Ardahan. Tourism potential of the district is high. Aşık Şenlik Mausoleum, Dark Castle, Kurtkale Castle, Demon Castle, Bird Island in Çıldır River are significant tourism spots and the district hosts the international Çıldır River Festival.

Damal is a district which as 2100 altitude and covered with snow for 7 months in a year. Damal appeals national and international tourists with its Ataturk Silhouette appearing between 15 June and 15 July on Karadağ each year. Also Damal Bebeği is an important advertising and income resource for the district.

Göle is a district located on the south of Ardahan. Great majority of its territory is covered with forests and it has various historical places with natural beauties where national and international tourists can visit. Kalecik Castle, Uğurtaşı Village Castle, Dedeşen Village Castle remaints and various mosque, church and chapel ruins take place among these places. Also Göle Culture and Kashar Cheese Festival are organized in each year internationally.

Hanak is a district located on the north of Ardahan. Thanks to its exclusive historical background and natural beauties, it is a different district in the region. Especially the ruins, church ruins, Sevimli Castle, Kırnav Castle are the primary tourism spots in Hanak. And camp tourism and hunt tourism are coming to the forefront within the natural beauties of Hanak.

Posof is an imporrant district for our region with its natural beauties. Wood grouse which is an endemic bird kind can be seen only in Posof and Artvin in our country. Cak Castle, Savaşır Castle, Kol Castle, Mere Castle are the primary historical places in the region with their own natural beauties.
